Cape View

A year ago my friend and fellow photographer, Jeanine, put in a request for artist display space at the Mashpee Public Library.  Initially she was given September 2014 but when July became available she had the opportunity to take it instead.  Prime artist space in Cape Cod in the summer: what could be luckier than that?  Well, maybe me... because I was invited to join her.  For the past few months we have been busy shooting, selecting, framing, signing, poster making and all of those other details required for setting up a show.  I've never been involved in anything this big - even my Master's thesis only had 14 pieces!  Today it was 26, many of them an intimate 12 3/4 x 12 3/4 size reflecting my love of Cape Cod.  Thank goodness for my husband, Scott, who took the day off and was consultant and hanger extraordinaire.

This is a little preview of my work. If you are in the area, please come!  We have filled 2 floors of the library and the show will be up through the month of July. There will be an artist's reception on July 26th from 2-4.

We are so excited!
