Susan: Who knew the blooms could be so beautiful? And fragrant. They remind me of our Snow Crab that we planted for Garfield on Country Creek, only much bigger! I wanted a muted pastel background and this shot set them off nicely.
Susan: Sy, our fabulous contractor, pulled this scroll from an 1800’s home in Cotuit that he’s been renovating. He knew we wanted to mix old with new in our bathroom so rather than trash it he created some architectural interest for us.
Susan: My nephew, Daniel, is spending spring break with us. When it was time to practice cello he asked if he could do it outside. Why not? When we took a peek there he was in the middle of the front lawn playing away! We decided he may be hoping to meet a new friend or earn a little extra cash...
Maryann: I really liked the shadows and the blue and white combination.
Susan: Thoughts from a 7 year old attending my April vacation art camp this week. She asked if she could write a morning message and when I turned around this is what greeted me! I couldn't agree more...
Susan: We discovered glass artist Michael Magyar at the Sandwich Glass Museum this fall. He creates these beautiful sand globes among many other works. A little wave action on those days when you can’t get to the beach!
Maryann: Trying my pets in motion feature on my new camera. This is Fletcher and some new found playmates.
Maryann: My pretty little Jilly was kind enough to smile and pose for me. I think this photo epitomizes her sweetness. Don't know how I did it, but many dog's eyes turn funny colors in photos. Got lucky this time.
Susan: A peek through our new bathroom window. Sunsets will be spectacular here I think!
Susan: I’m been contemplating the color for our master bathroom and when we received this beautiful arrangement today I decided blue hydrangea just might be it!
Maryann: Apple tree in the orchard on the way to Susan's former residence. I was hoping for some good shots - it was a day with some atmosphere. I love how twisty the trees are and lined up like umbrellas.
