Celebrations

We couldn't figure out why we kept running into streets decorated with streamers - did the party happen or was it coming? Apparently the Feast of St. Anthony is on June 13th but the celebrations go for 3 days. And it's a big one:parades, fireworks, dancing. And because St. Anthony is the "matchmaker saint" it is the most popular day to get married. City hall hosts free weddings and there's a parade of the brides in convertibles, too!
