MassNAHRO Annual Conference & Exhibition [Cape Cod Event Photographer]

Home.  We appreciate its comforts, seek its refuge at the end of a long day, and share our life there with family.   There are many people, however, who struggle to afford this basic need.  I was recently invited back as photographer for the MassNAHRO annual conference & exhibition, where I spent time with the women and men who work diligently to help provide decent, safe and affordable housing in Massachusetts.

The exhibit hall was the center of activity as events got underway.  A variety of vendors displayed their products and services, while attendees enjoyed time meeting friends and new acquaintances at the cocktail reception.

The days were filled with concurrent sessions and meetings.

Lunch on Monday included a variety of awards

As well as election of the new MassNAHRO president.  Congratulations David!

The evening reception was lively with a little fun and games, and raffle of door prizes donated by exhibitors.

The dinner buffet featured guest speaker Mike Kennealy, Secretary of Housing and Economic Development.

The Past Presidents Luncheon took place on Tuesday, which featured the presentation of the 2019 Past Presidents Memorial Scholarships to selected high school seniors.  This is such a touching event as student accomplishments are publicly recognized and rewarded.  I was so impressed by their stories of kindness and caring to others in their community.

The afternoon Candy Bar was a hit!

And more fun at the Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle to benefit the Past Presidents Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The final awards were for outgoing President, Brian Costello.

I was delighted to spend time with such a dynamic group of people, hardworking and dedicated, at the beautiful Sea Crest Hotel in Falmouth, MA. By the end of my days at the conference I had a new appreciation for the important role that the people of MassNAHRO play in serving communities across our state.

This group clearly enjoyed their time together, and I enjoyed my time with them!
