Polynesian Princess Tea Party [Cape Cod Event Photographer]

Aloha!  It's time for tea at the Cape Cod Children's Museum 11th annual princess tea party on Sunday, September 9th.

This year's theme was inspired by the movie, Moana, the story of a young girl's quest to explore the world beyond her island, and to save her people in the process.  It is one of my favorite Disney movies, and such a joy to capture the excitement of these children as they spent their day in a tropical paradise.

Guests were greeted by Moana and Maui.

There were many activities to choose from, including lei making,

sand art,

tote bag decorating,

cup coloring,

mini-manicures by Cape Cod Nail Company,

photo booth with props,

a delicious buffet brunch,

and, of course, the sweetest treat was the Polar Cave Ice Cream Sundae Bar.

The highlight of the day was when guests were invited to don their grass skirts and join Moana to learn the basics of Hawaiian hula dancing.

As festivities came to a close, raffle winners were announced for the beautiful themed baskets.

Everyone left with a homemade cookie, treasure stone, and memories of a fun adventure in the tropics.
