New Heights

This week my friend Terry and I took advantage of the beautiful fall weather and did some Cape exploring.  We began on Route 6A in Barnstable and decided to drive and stop whenever something caught our eye.  As we crossed the Dennis line we saw a sign for Scargo Hill Road; that sounded like a viewing opportunity.  As we drove to the summit we found that the hill had a beautiful stone tower, built in the early 1900's atop the highest hill in mid-cape.  From the top you can view all the way to Provincetown and as far west as Plymouth.  I know that I have been here in the past but it was so nice to revisit and catch the last of our fall color.  It will be gone oh so soon!
