Taste of Fall

Fall has such a wonderful way of engaging all of your senses.  The sound of leaves crunching underfoot, the softness of warm sweater on a cool morning, the vibrant reds, yellows and oranges of the leaves and marsh grass against a clear blue sky, the delicious crunch of a freshly picked apple, and the sweet smell of grapes, ready on the vine.


We had fun exploring the Truro vineyards on a sunny Sunday afternoon with our friends, Connie and Joe, who were visiting for the weekend.  When you combine a side trip to PB Boulangerie in South Wellfleet with a little afternoon wine tasting you have the makings of a perfect French day without leaving the Cape.
