Marsh View

In anticipation for an upcoming photo shoot in Sandwich I decided to check out my landscape options at the town beach.  I brought my tripod and planned to walk the boardwalk to the ocean.  But as soon as I arrived in the parking lot I knew I wouldn't be going any further.  There is something magical about the marsh in late afternoon, the way the colors evolve and intensify, totally enveloping you in a blanket of golden light.  As the sun faded and walkers made their way back across the gray planks, the water deepened to indigo.  I waited for the first lights to be seen in the distance before I turned to go home.
