April Photo du Jour

     One huge downside of starting a new life in a new place is leaving friends behind.  I think that this has been the biggest adjustment - I wish that I could just bring them with me!  But one thing is certain - the closest ones will always be there, no matter how far.  My friend Maryann, also an artist and very interested in photography has just retired and recently purchased a new camera, the Nikon D7000.  We decided to establish a photo du jour for the month of April as an opportunity for her to try out her purchase as well as to challenge ourselves to do something creative every day. So the deal is we receive a photo email from each other but can't view it until we have sent one in return.  ooh, such fun...
