Fading Fast

This time of year is so bittersweet. I went looking for the sunflower field in North Yarmouth only to find a field of dead heads and faded blooms. How disappointing! This Queen Anne's caught my eye as I was getting back into the car. This view was a happy ending - even as the Lace fades it has an air of elegance as it waves gently in the breeze.

Tomorrow I am in an art show at Fort Williams from 10 to 4. This is a huge leap! It's exciting and frightening at the same time. Off to practice setting up in the back yard....
